1. Check the Site and Drainage
Before installation, confirm whether the surface can move water away. Poor drainage causes odor, surface movement, and reduced service life. Concrete, rooftop, and balcony installations may need drainage paths or additional drainage matting.
2. Prepare a Stable Base
For soil areas, remove loose material and prepare a compacted aggregate base. A flat, stable, and slightly sloped base helps the grass sit evenly and prevents dips after use.
3. Lay, Trim, and Join Rolls
Rolls should be laid in the same pile direction for consistent color. Trim edges carefully and use suitable seam tape or adhesive. Poor seam alignment is one of the most visible installation problems.
4. Fix Edges and Brush Fibers
Secure edges according to the site condition. After installation, brush the fibers upright. For high-traffic projects, scheduled brushing helps reduce flattening.

- Ignoring drainage before installation.

- Choosing pile height only by appearance, not traffic level.
- Using harsh chemicals or high heat for cleaning.
